Demand Draft for Online Application:
The candidates from all zones who are opting for Online Application Form submission and willing to pay by the Offline Payment mode should obtain a demand draft for the amount Rs 800/- (Rs 400/- for SC/ST/PD) only in favour of "Chairman GATE, IIT Kanpur" payable at Kanpur, prior to start of the online filing of the application.

Demand Draft for Offline Application:
The candidates who wish to obtain the Offline Application Form and Information Brochure by post or personally from GATE office counter should obtain a demand draft for the amount Rs 1000/- (Rs 500/- for SC/ST/PD) payable at the city of the respective zonal GATE office as given in the table below:
